The Alien from Ridley Scott's original Alien film has been voted the most terrifying movie monster.
The creation scooped 34% of the vote in the survey by the Sky Movies Sci-Fi %26amp; Horror channel to mark its Creature Features season.
The Creeper from teen horror movie Jeepers Creepers took second place with 14%, with the shark from Jaws finishing third with 10%.
What’s your most terrifying movie monster?
What’s your most terrifying movie monster?
Dalek's, lol.
I know that Doctor Who isn't a MOVIE monster but ya know.
I do admit though that Jeepers Creepers is scary, although perhaps he looks more discusting than scary.

Reply:The werewolf in Stephen King's "Silver Bullet". I saw the movie as a child and I've been terrified of it (and any kind of dog-like beast) ever since. I think that "creature features" scare me more than any psycho flick ever could. Psychos are all around us, we see them on tv, in real life on the news. They aren't scary because that kind of stuff happens everyday. It's the things you can't explain, genetic mutations, voices from nowhere, a feeling of dread and ill being in a place where you're suppose to be safe, those are the things that are truly scary. I think Hollywood has lost sense of what it is to be truly scared. Yes, everyone cringes when they see "Saw" for the first time, but then they get over it. They walk out of the theater feeling sick and dirty, then go home, shower and later sleep like they did the night before. A truly scary movie will make you scared to leave the theater.
Reply:i watched the langeleers when i was little and they scared me witless, i watched it recently and couldn't work out why i was ever scared. Xx
Reply:The first Freddy Krugar film is the scariest. But even now years later i don't think you can find any one more scary than FREDDY!!!

I don't know how Chucky got on that list, it's a chubby redhaired doll.
Reply:I always hated Freddy Kruegar when I was younger now I don't so much....
The most scariest now would be....ummm oh! The baddies in Silent Hill, that film creeps me out just thinking about it. Especially the guy in the toilet wrapped up in barbed wire, crawling towards you, yesh! Horrible.
Reply:Barney the singing purple dinosaur, scary!
With me it isn't monsters that scare it's mundane things made scary like the television in poltegeist or mirrors in the sequel.
