Anybody else think?

its cool to see women answering car questions? What makes a woman want to become knowledgeable about auto mechanics (I mean the science, not the guy in tight jeans at the gas station)? Its so interesting to see a woman that knows what shes talking about in this field or to even see women taking an interest in this stuff. Do you suppose such a woman as this would get on your creeper under your car?

Anybody else think?
My wife learned about her car and repairing it as she didn;t want to be beholden to anyone on things she could take care of herself.



I find it liberating that a woman would want to know that (considering what a car clod I am).



As to the creeper, how much clearance do you have?
Reply:well i know some women who works on cars,and some are pretty smart too.i dont mind if they work on my car as long as they know what they are doing.
Reply:I think it's really cool. I wish I knew of some cheap mechanics classes so I could take them and fix my own car. I kinda like getting dirty and fixing things.
Reply:Ok, first of all, female mechanics are NOT that common. I've personally never seen a female mechanic. However, someone once told me there is a repair shop in Atlanta, GA that is ALL female mechanics. I thought that was pretty awsome. I think it's really cool when women take an interest in anything auto related. It's not the norm. But I suppose it's no different than guys that take an interest in something typically seen as a woman's interest, like fashion or interior design. It's fun to be around other people that share your interests, no matter if they're a man or woman.
Reply:Where have you been? There are many women mechanics out there. What makes us want to be knowledgeable about cars is the same thing that makes men want to be I suspect. I love speed. I am into muscle cars. I want to know what I am driving has been worked on properly. I figure I drive the cars, trucks

I break them. I should repair them.
