Tarzan Monologue??? Help please?

Ok so for our drama class, we had to write and preform a monologue, pretending to be someone. For example, we had a hermione, a jacque cluseou (pink panther), a charlie brown, a furby lol, just to name a few. I am really stuck. I might have to do mine tomorrow but i havn't finished writing the script. I think i've chosen Jane from the disney movie Tarzan. should i stick to the movie or should i have a new scenerio. My idea is that i could be writing a letter to like the fbi or whatever saying they better come soon because there is a creeper on the island who dresses like a monkey and trys to kidnap innocent women such as myself. Thats just an idea. Do you have any other ideas to go on more for that idea or different scenerios that might work? And by the way im 14 and in a high school drama class. PLease answer soon, i've left this drastically to the last minute. Thanks :)

Your idea is fine! But may I suggest that instead of the FBI, how about imagining who might actually find the letter? A hiker, a traveller, a photographer, etc. Concentrate not on what's going on, but how it makes you feel. (Example: Instead of "This creepy man jumps around and is holding me prisoner", try "This man . . this frightening man, he makes me sick to even look at him! He's holding me against my will! I want to escape, so badly to just go home! But he keeps me here, sad, confused and afraid"

Reply:Have you read any of the Edgar Rice Burroughs' classics to get the full story of Jane? Since Tarzan himself is a descendant of British nobility, why not nag him to run for Parliament, since he has already been to New York in the movies. I'd kibosh the Dr. Moreau sexual innuendo fantasy and go with the Disney modernization of Jane as a thinking being with a world conscience. She could be writing that MP (Member of Parliament) Tarzan delivers a stirring speech to withdraw British Troops from the middle-east wars if you are a CND (Commitee for Nuclear Disarmament) person (Jane would be and also eco-conscious as she lives in the jungle) or if you are a Hawk, reveal that Tarzan has pledged the assistance of his Waziri brothers to end the war.
