I want to know if 16 is too young to date a 24 year old guy.?

okay.. so i know it sounds totally creeper.. but hes not hes not expecting anything out of me. hes really qweet but hes playing hot and cold.

and its annoying i have been talking to him for about two years now. and i would do anything for him. but i dont necsicarily know if he is really into me. and thats annoying...he keeps using the im jail bait excies because i guess he think im gonna tell someone. which i wont and he wont believe me.

what do i do?!

Between a 16 yr old dating a 24 yr old is very different from a 28 yr old dating a 36 yr old (exact same age gap), but with your age gap illegal aside I think you are going to find that you just won't have a lot in common with one another as you aren't meant to. You are just in two different stages of life. Many guys at 24 themselves aren't very mature (I know I dated one and I'm 27!) This of course varies. If you are meant to have a chance with one another, wait until you are 18. By then if you or him forget about one another, just wasn't mean to be!



I suggest to stay away though, honestly. At least in the "romantic" sense.
Reply:you stay away from him,you could end up a single mom at 17.these things happen. Why would you want to throw yourself away and into the arms of some one who doesn't really care, and why would a man of 24 want to be with a girl of 16.This is not going to have a happy ending is it?

Reply:Age should not matter, but with the law it does. As long as you two aren't getting sexually involved..it should be fine. He can get in deep sh*t if anyone caught him like that. As for dating..it shouldn't get you two in any trouble. be careful!
Reply:It depends upon what country you live in. Here in the USA folks will do nothing but frown and judge. In Eurpoe or Asia, this is seen as normal and no one would give a second thought.

YOU are chasing a 24 yr old, he isn't chasing you. i believe a 16 yr old and a 24 yr old are illegal in most states. besides, you still have a curfew in your town and so while you're at home in bed he'll be hanging out with all of his friends and WOMEN, not girls. also, if you are naive enough to think a 24 yr old man wouldn't want anything from you, then you are probably too young to date anyone. wake up, stop being so desperate, and find someone on your own level. why would a normal 24 yr old who can drink, smoke, buy a house, have a full-time job, vote, etc...waste his time on someone who just learned to drive? seriously, what would you two have in common? oh wait, i know...he's looking for a gullible girl and you're looking for a much older man to make you feel sexy.
