What was the monster on the jeepers creepers movie?
The Creeper is a demon of some kind but that's about as much as we've been told except for his feeding cycle. I think most people thought that all would be revealed in the sequel. If there is a third film, it will have to be set in the future, of course.



A review at an IMDB site has this: "a flesh-eating ancient beast that resurfaces on the Earth every 23 years to feed." But, I think it is referred to as a demon at one point, which would be likely with the regeneration, the wings and the relative invulnerability.



I just visited the BEATINGU site, and it doesn't have a further explanation than what I have above. Will there be a third one that provides more of an explanation?

Victor Salva originally wrote the role of the Creeper for Lance Henriksen.



Gina Philips (Trish) and Justin Long (Darry) were not allowed to meet Jonathan Breck (The Creeper) before filming (in order to get a true reaction from them when they actually did see him with his full costume and makeup). Neither did they see the BEATNGU truck before the opening scene was shot. When Philips first saw the truck, she said something to the effect of "Is that the truck? Jeepers, that's creepy."



Victor Salva wrote the whole "Every 23 years for 23 days it gets to eat" rule in the first movie so there would be no sequel unless the movie was set in the future, and knew the studio wouldn't want that. However, Francis Ford Coppola found an easy loophole in the rule for the sequel: set it during the same 23 days as the first movie. So this film is set on the 23rd day for the purpose of not making another sequel.

Reply:it was a cowboy thing, i no cuz the next morning i ended up having to go 2 hospital throwing up and had to spend the nyt on a drippped.. it totally cucked and that was about 3 years ago, until now i have never watched any of the jeepers creepers movies!! but the guy who use 2 kill ppl and steal their body parts was a type of cowboy guy thing and he use to wear a bandanna thing on his mouth and nose and had a big coat and a big cowboy looking hat..

Reply:The Creeper is the slasher from the "Jeepers Creepers" movies. He is a mutant zombie cockroach, but he dresses in human's clothes.



Every 23 years, for 23 days, he is raised from his grave and he decides to hunt for humans to eat. Once his 23 days are up, he goes back to the grave.



In "Jeepers Creepers", two teenagers (a girl and her brothers) accidentally find the Creeper's lair while on a road trip, and they spend the rest of the movie running from the Creeper. In the end, the Creeper kidnaps the boy and eats him.



Then, in "Jeepers Creepers 2", the Creeper hunts down a high school basketball team whose bus got stranded near his lair. He is himself being hunted by a farmer, who wants revenge for the Creeper eating his son. In the end, the Creeper's time runs out, and the farmer is able to send him back to the grave.



The movie is called "Jeepers Creepers" because that is a song that the Creeper plays whenever he is about to eat someone.

Reply:It's a combination of monsters or evil entities you see in movies...but in no way related to each other. It's a "Freddy Kruger-Meets-Scarecrow-Meets-23" kind of movie. It really had no name.
