I really need an outside opinion on this boy trouble?

Im a senior in highschool, and theres a guy in one of my classes, who ive somehow never seen around before even though hes also a senior too, that i think is really hot. but when i told a few of my friends about him, they all started telling me about his reputation as a creeper and that i should stay away from him. they say that he talks girls and whatnot. now, i dont personally know anyone whos been "stalked" by him, and ive also never heard anything of his reputation before either. normally this kind of information would totally deter me, but for some reason it hasnt. not that i dont trust my friends, i just dont know how to take their advice, since i myself have had creeper/stalker moments in the past (all in good fun of course), and if thats just his way of dealing with a crush then so be it. like, unless hes going to attack you, why cant it be flattering? but then on the other hand, what the hell do you do if you like a stalker first? stalk him?

opinions and feedback please?

Don't base your opinion of someone on what other people have told you. You don't know this guy, so don't form an opinion about him before you've even met him. You don't even know if what your friends have told you is true. It could be rumors and nothing more. If you want to get to know this guy, go for it. And if he turns out to be a creep, oh well, at least you know. Good luck!
Reply:All good answers so far. I agree. follow your heart ,girl.
Reply:You've never spoken to this guy, and maybe your friends never have either. This is high school and alot of good guys just aren't totally comfortable around girls yet. If you think he's hot, then why not start by just talking to him. Get to know him a bit and then you'll have a better idea whether he is right for you.

There is nothing worse than judging someone you've never spoken to based on vague information from other people.
Reply:that's cute!!

The operative word in your whole question is "highschool" A lesson a lot of people eventually learn is to start thinking for themselves and making up their own minds. Your friends opinions should be important to you but at the end of the day don't be afraid to make up your own mind about things. The fact that this guys rep hasn't been an issue before should give you some indication that it's probably one of those vicious highschool rumors. Of course if it turns out to be acurate don't be afraid to fight crazy with crazy. good luck!
