Does anyone remember Creepshow 2?

If you do, do you remember "The Creeper" who was presenting the stories? Did Jeepers Creepers rip off Stephen King? I was watching it last night, and they are the same character, and drive the same car.

Does anyone remember Creepshow 2?
No, there is no similarity between the Creeper and the demonic creature that appears in the "Jeepers Creepers" movies that I can see. I think I can verify this because I watched "Creepshow 2" during the wee hours of the morning on American Movie Classics. They in no way resemble each other in my estimation. I don't think the same car is involved. Nothing looked similar to me. I'm a bit confused as to what you are referring to. The demon from "Jeepers Creepers" is a world apart from anything in "Creepshow 2".

As a film buff, I'd be surprised if something didn't "click" with me had I seen similarities because I have noticed connections in other films. Of course, there always is a chance that one filmmaker made an allusion to another. If they did, I guess I didn't see it.

Here are some bits of trivia, courtesy of IMDB:

Here's some info about "Creepshow 2". I didn't see any connections, but they're easy to miss:

Below, I placed links to a clear picture of the Creeper and the Creep. By the way, variations of those names have been used since the days of Old Hollywood. One of the most famous Creepers was portrayed by Rondo Hatton. So, they could have been alluding to this early "monster"; sadly, that is what Mr. Hatton truly looked like, as he had acromegaly, a disorder of the pituitary gland.

Anyway, Creep(er) isn't a new name in movies.
