i'm curious to see what everyone's opinion is on online casting sites. Ive that none of them really offer amazing roles and that it's mostly tiny parts and background (as far as film and tv ar concerned) and student films. and i'm okay with that, im just looking to pad up my resume. I'm just looking for a good site that might get me an audition. It's impossible to get good work without an agent and its impossible to get an agent without having work. I know all about scams and creepers so i understand the cautionary responses, but theyre really not what im looking for. i just want to know which site i should fork over my money to with the smallest odds of being ripped off.

Online casting sites?
Look around at your bigger cities ... they usually have a film office. Ask local community theatres if they have any recommendations. Check your local paper's Arts section for a casting section. Take classes and build bridges.
Narrowing down these types of searches online tend to lead to sites that rip you off. Good luck!
