My dad owned a 4 door 1960 Chevrolet 4 door in the mid sixties. The car in the movie is painted Evening Orchid which first became available on the '65 Chevrolet models. My dad has his '60 Chevy Impala painted this color. It was also a stick shift with black houndstooth interior as is the car in the movie.
The car is a dead ringer for my dad's old car. The year/model, unusal color choice (not an original color), interior and transmission.
Where was this movie filmed? We live in Pittsburgh, PA (closer to OH). Does anyone know where the car came from or where it might be today?
