What should i say or do?

I know this girl from back in highschool. I had the biggest crush on her and i dont think she even remembers me, but im kicking myself for not talking to her or even tempting to, back in highschool. So now shes on my facebook, and shes got a b/f. I still want to get to know her, so should i just message her out of the blue? its been about 1-2 years now since highschool. I have regrets of not taking opportunities back in highschool, should i make up for this by messaging her and trying to get to know her, if so what should i say? shes got hundreds and hundreds of "friends" on facebook, so what are the chances of her remembering me? i dont wanna seem like a creeper or make things awkward

What should i say or do?
I don't think it's a problem when you just give her a shout out.. she'll be surprise to hear from you.. even if she doesn't remember you - she'll dig into her memory... it won't hurt to even send her a message.

Say something like "oh my god, it's you! It's me, *insert name her*, from highschool!! Hows life...?" stuff like that!! Long time no see, you've changed so much.. and all that lark!!
