I really need your accessment of this situation and advice, thanks?

I work at a recreation center.

I also play soccer there.

Im a senior in HS and a graduation requirement is to get 20 hrs of community service, so I run the scoreboards for the soccer games when Im not playing, so Im there 3 nights a week playing soccer and running the boards.

Ive gotten to know most the referees pretty well.

One ref is a very nice guy. He is one of the best referees Ive ever seen and he is overall a pretty good guy.



Here is the thing.

He winks at me all the time. When I walk past him or if we look over at each other. Its kinda like a head nod type gesture, I guess.

He jokes around with me and acts more friendly than the other referees.

He'll pat me on the back or something like that.

He shares food with me, if he goes and gets any from the vending machines.

Tonight, I was talking to one of my supervisors and he was standing behind me and kicked the back of my leg on purpose then pretended like he didn't do anything.

He would do the winking thing a few times and he knocked on the glass at me, like he was saying or or something.

I bought some candy and it was his fav candy I suppose, he wanted some so i shared it with him.

He didnt have a drink, so he came over to the table and asked whos powerade was sitting there and I said mine and he asked if I was sick and I said no and he picked it up and drank some. He did this a few times through out the night and then when I got a mountain dew he did the same with that.



The other night during a game (he plays on one of my teams), I was in the bench area leaning on the boards watching the game. He subbed off and went to get his water bottle which was on the opposite side of me and I stood up so my butt wasn't in the way but when he walked past me his hand still brushed my butt. There was enough room for two comfortably where I was standing. I have no clue if it was accidental or on purpose.



He is not a "creeper" or an ugly guy, hes quite good-looking.



Ive only known him since the beginning of March.

My questions are:

1. Why would he be so comforatable with drinking after me even if I wasn't sick?

2. Is he flirting?

3. What are his actions trying to say?

4. What are your takes on this situation?



There is a twist but I want peoples opinions on this part of the situation first.

the twist is that he is in a relationship? no matter, your in control here and can encourage his ADVANCES or stop them cold. your choice dear. of course he fancies you.
Reply:1 - some people are just bold like that - they aren't germaphobes and know cooties aren't real



2 - could be, or you could like him and you read into everything



3. he's comfortable around you



4. If you like him, ask him out yourself - you will either find out he's just a nice guy being friendly %26amp; he has a gf, he returns your feelings and says yes, or he's gay and thinks of you like a girl-friend. =)
Reply:I have a feeling he's older and he knows how to flirt pretty good. He drank after you to show you how comfortable he is with you, he is flirting, his actions are sexual, and my take on the situation is he's feeling you out so he can get in your pants. An older guy hitting on a highschool student treats her like prey....everything he is doing is to get you comfortable with him, trust him, and think he's really into you. He hasn't put forth an effort to really sit down and get to know you and he hasn't asked you out on an official date. Beware of this one!
