How To Get My Hair Like This? (PICTURES)?

Hey,here are some pictures of a girl's hair that I LOVE. Not necessarily the bangs, but I love the layers. How can I describe this to a hairdresser without being a creeper to this (somewhat) friend?



Are there certain words or whatever? Also if you have any pictures with layers like that, or layered hair with really niceface framingbangs, PLEASE POST THEM!

Reply:Well you could bring the picture to the hair dresser. But I dont think theres much to go by unless you want your bangs like that.

You could tell her that you just want lots of layers in your hair and show her what you want gone or what you want to stay.

I just litterally lifted pieces of my hair and said I want the shortest layer here, and showed her where I wanted my shortest layer! They are pretty good at this stuff and will probably know what you mean.

You could always go in before you actually make an appointment to see if they know what your talking about.

Where are you getting your hair done? If there is a Toni %26amp; Guy around your area, they can be a bit pricey but deffinately worth it. They WILL know exactly what your talking about.

They also will know what will look good on you regarding your bangs.

Reply:don't worry about seeming creepy...unless your friend is going with you to the hair salon, how will she even find out you used her picture? even if she did, she'd probably be flattered.



i printed out pictures of a girl i was somewhat friends with and brought it to a hair dresser. no big deal.
Reply:Take the photo with you and tell them to cut it like the girl in the photo.

chunky angled bangs

front chunky layers (blended with bangs, faceframing)

long and thin style in back

short chunky layers in back



Make sure you tell her you want the layers chunky or the hairstylist will blend them, which wont look bad, but it just wont have the whole punk-rockerish look to it.
Reply:Best way to describe this to a hairdresser is to print the pictures, and bring them! That way you can just point to exactly the part you like. There are always words to describe things, but only to a certain point. To get the right proportions, pictures are alot more useful!



Also... you're only a creeper IF your friend finds out you used her pictures. She doesn't have to know... :P
