What are his intentions?

My friend was telling about a guy she met today and we need help interpreting his intentions. This is what my friend said:"i was walking out of class today and a guy came up and asked "this is really random, but what are you doign right now?" He asked if I wanted to eat with him %26amp; I said sure why not. Then he asked where I wanted to eat %26amp; I said the regular dining commons. However he wanted to eat at a mini cafe on campus, so he said if i go he would buy me lunch. But then i said no, and told him i'd swipe him in if we went to the regular dining commons %26amp; so we did.When we were eating lunch, we were talking about the weekend and he invited me to a BBQ/party he was having this weekend at his place off-campus."



What do you guys think? She's a freshmen, he's a senior. My friend has never met him before and it's all just very strange / unusal. We were thinking he could be a creeper, then again he could be a nice guy.

He's probably sick of being single... and he obviously thought you looked nice to go and introduce himself to you ...he's a gentleman ....he's cool ...

Reply:Sounds like a nice guy, and it could just be that he's actually mature enough to just ask a girl to lunch. The ONLY thing I thought was slightly suspicious was that he asked HER where she wanted to eat and then said no he wanted to eat at the mini cafe. If he had that place in mind, why ask her where she wanted to go in the first place? Is this mini cafe removed or something? Sorry to sounds paranoid, you just need to be careful these days. Maybe I just need more info.
Reply:He is none but a regular guy whom thinks you are pretty enough and good enough to ask out. I would recommend being less judgemental. Precautious but less judgemental.
