Men: A guy gave me his number... but wouldn't that annoy you? giving a girl the freedom to call you whenever?

and told me to call him if I wanted to go to a party~ we met randomly on the street and he was friendly, what does him giving me the number imply? Obviously to call him, but he always tells me to call him and hasn't stored my number in his phone book~ he also asks me to visit him at his work (a pizza place) and offers to hook me up with free pizza~ he's not a creeper but itsn' interesting how he just offered his numnber, wouldn't that be the opposite of what a guy would want? A Girl to annoy him and call him whenever she feels like it? Doesn't it seem like a big risk to you guys?

not really we like when girls call but it also shows that it wouldnt be a serious relationship if thats what you're lookin for.
Reply:a big risk? not really.... most guys don't just give their phone numbers out to anyone and everyone.
Reply:He likes you enough to feel comfortable with the risk.

Reply:Guys do this sometimes when they are rebounding or if they trying to make a girl jealous. Some guys simply get pleasure just out of seeing how a woman reacts to them. The point is, he is game-playin'---leave his *** alone, delete his #, don't call him and when he calls (and he will) put him through to voicemail and ignore him.
Reply:i'm in a sort of similar situation (see my question), whereby i met this great girl ... chatted her up well ... we clicked ... i gave her my # / biz card ... and as i'm about to close the deal (get her #) she gets literally dragged off by her stupid friends and i lose my chance to get her digits. now i'm basically waiting for her to call me which totally sucks.



so, as a guy, i would LOVE IT if the girl looked at the calendar and realized it is (almost ) 2008 and that girls can and should take the initiative and call guys first.



DO IT. What risk? What is the absolute worst that can happen? If nothing is there, you simply move on. Lots of fish in the sea but if you don't bother to explore the opportunities in front of you, how will you ever know?
