Directions on how to operate a sand pool filter?

I have an above ground pool. Got it with the house we bought. There were no directions for how to use the pool filter. I need to know how to use the filter with the creeper that cleans pool. Basicly, I just need all the information I can get to operate the pool.

first off if you have an above ground pool to operate the (litleman) aka bottom of the pool vacume you have to fill the vac hose with water the you take out the fiters basket and their is a hole when the filter is on you will feel some suction that is whear you hook up the vacume hose after it has been totaly imerged in water and it is filled with water but turn the filter off before sticking the vacume hose in the hole in the bottom of the skimmer where you just took the basket out the turn the pump on the vacume may get stuck and you may need to help in out a little. To add filter sand i can not give you adaquate instructions because all filters vary so some take more sand some take less sand. But i hope i helped you out.
