Calling the cops?
I was only five.

And I knew how to do 911! =)

And I just did it for fun *yikes*

They called back.

and my dad was mad.

So yeah.

Reply:I've called the cops on my older brother before.

Me and him never really got along.

We got into fights(and I don't mean the verbal kind)

I felt very unsafe around him.

My mom wouldn't throw him out the house.

A month and a half after I turned 16, my dad got custody of me and I thank God for that because I couldn't take living with my brother anymore.

My bro is 5 years older than I am.
Reply:No I haven't but when i was young i rang the fire guys once but they asked for my dad and I couldn't get over what happened all of it.
Reply:I've done more than that. I had a neighbor who was already on probation (i believe it was for felony burglary) This neighbor at one time forced his way into my door and there was a physical altercation. I called the police, but they would not do anything. They did not witness the incident, so they would not arrest him. A neighbor on my side of the apartment complex filed a written statement that this person ran over to my side and pushed his way through my door. This witness statement was taken, and I heard nothing for about two weeks. I then called the police department, and the assistant chief of police told me there would be nothing done because there was no witness. I informed him there was a witness statement, and he said, "oh yeah I do have a witness statement here. I will send this to the prosecutor's office." About another two weeks went by, and I didn't hear anything more, so I personally went to the prosecutor's office. When I spoke to their investigator he said he had never heard of this incident. He called the assistant police chief, who hadn't done his job of turning over the paperwork to the prosecutor's office. After I went to the prosecutor's office and got things straightened out, this person had an arrest warrant issued within two days. I was thinking this person would be charged with misdemeanor assault, and I wanted it to be on record in case I had any more problems with this person. However, since this person forced his way into my apartment, he was charged with felony burglary. That prosecutor didn't play games. He took his job very seriously, even though the police dept didn't do their job properly.

Reply:about two weeks ago i called the police to report 3 men harassing customers for money as they entered and exited the 7-11 in downtown walnut creek. they showed up within 15 minutes and told the men to leave the property. the 3 men whom i reported WERE NOT HAPPY at all. they started chasing me down the street and threw beer bottles at me. I was able to get away from them and call the police again. They police showed up (same two officers who told the men to leave). All three of the men were arrested and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.
