Are dogs allowed on the metro bus?

Is it safe? I go around the city a lot on the bus and I wanna take my dog along, I'm just afraid some creeper will still my dog away from me o_O

Are dogs allowed on the metro bus?
Unfortunately, no, not in America.

I wish it were so though! I would love to be able to take my dog on public transport with me. It would be much easier to be able to take the bus to the park instead of spending so much money on gas and help the environment by not driving so much. Sigh.
Reply:If you have a small dog, you can hide him/her in your backpack, then sit at the back of the bus. Open it enough so her head faces you. Most bus drivers won't really care.

My friend tried this with her doxie mix, and no one noticed. Just make sure your dog doesn't freak out.
Reply:In the u.s. dogs are not allowed on public transportation unless it is a service dog but dog loving countries in europe allow dogs. If it is small and is contained i.e. dog carrier, some dog loving bus drivers let them on.
Reply:If your dog is a service dog, it will be allowed on public transportation. If you are afraid of your dog being stolen, you are better off leaving your dog at home.
Reply:Most won't let you bring them on but if your dog is really behaved maybe the driver will. You could always just ask when you get there.
Reply:No
