Is this normal?

While some people freak out and scream or cover their eyes when they watch horror movies I actually think they're funny. Like on Jeepers Creepers 2 when that man was stabbing the flying monster, or on Freddy vs. Jason when that girl was beating the crap out of Freddy I was just cracking up. I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Is this normal?

I think they are pretty funny too. I can't find a horror movie that scares me. Me and my husband are always searching for the next best horror movie and trying to find one that will scare us. no luck yet.
Reply:Sure. Everyone reacts differently to movies. I watch scary movies and cover my face and scream. But yet when I watched The Descent (its a gory scary movie) I laughed in some parts of the movie. There are also funny movies that everyone says are funny and I don't think they are funny. ex. 40 Year Old Virgin. I didn't think it was that funny. If you think they are funny by all means laugh it's your reaction.

Reply:ahah not usually, but i know people who tell me gory stuff cracks them up....so i guess you're normal!!
Reply:Everyone is special in their own way. Some people will get scared, sad, happy, or anything they feel like. Everyone is different. Everyone also has a different personality. Don't get worried or anything...just continue life.
Reply:Yes..you realise the subtle difference between fiction and reality...in John Carpenter's "Vampires" I pissed myself laughing but not in "The Thing"..had to get a drink after..Everyone has a different take on things..imagine "Alien" with William Hurt and "Spaceballs"...It's your ..Bent,so to speak,your slant on things...Didn't laugh at "The Exorcist"..even when a stranger grabbed my leg and wouldn't let go...Funny,later.It's Cool.
Reply:yeah, I found freddy vs. jason more funny than scary. And my boyfriend always laughs at the scary parts in movies that I would cover my eyes in.
Reply:I'd like to think so because I know quite a few people that react that way. I dunno. I laugh because scenes like the ones you mentioned are just too silly to be scary.
